Doug has spent his 40 year professional life as a Graphic Designer producing corporate and product marketing, promotional and advertising projects for many distinguished companies... DowBrands, STP, ESAB, Dunlop, Slazenger, Laidlaw.

Recently, due to two cancer surgeries, radiation treatments, chemo therapy and a long recovery time, he has decided to shift his creative emphasis to the fine arts. His fresh "graphic" approach to digital painting has resulted in development of an innovative art medium technique he has named... "light stroke." ("LiteStroke")
Instead of using traditional oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, pencils or standard computer illustration programs, Doug has developed a new technique using 3-D software to project "virtual" lights and "gobo" silhouettes onto a blank virtual "canvas."
