Profile
Born in Israel of French and Tunisian parents, I am the product of the early years of Israel, with the sand in my toes and the poppies in bloom in the spring and the scent of the fig tree outside our terrace. The colors of the fields in the young country, intermingled with the cuisine from a melting pot of a new population, the children practicing the piano or violin heard through open windows, and the chant call to prayer, all have conspired to give me the soul to try to recapture those memories in art. I love nature; I love music; I am very creative, yet painfully struggling to express what is within me onto the canvas. Struggle! Some of my work I consider successful; some not. Yet, I am not to judge, but merely to express.
