Born in Norwich England to an American Father and British Mother. Took up art at a early age and gained a cse in art in high school. Moved to the States in 1980 and have lived in many states since, now living in Florida and Georgia. Started painting again in 2006 with my 1st piece Entanglement Red, this is the catalyst for most of my work. Abstract texture would best describe the art work I like to do, I have several styles that interest me and am always willing to try a new approach. My latest style which I call Retrotation begins with Retrotation 1 olive, I plan on creating more works of art with this style, using different colors and sizes as well as patterns. I will continue creating new work and hopefully it will become successful where I can make bigger and better art. Thanks for looking at my art. Darryl McCoy.
