I am a Michigander who has been creating art for the past 16 years. I enjoy the creative process while exploring new techniques. I primarily work in creating children's illustrations. During the summer months I am out to art shows displaying my works.
I am posting this comment made by a prospective employer '--your work is a bit diffuse --some are obviously painted photos. If you really want to get into children's books you should do a series of illus in one style only.'
I am diverse in my style so that clients can see various mediums and styles at work together. The client is able to visualize their project in any given medium should they select me to produce their project.
Any piece of artwork on these pages or anywhere else you may see my work are original works created by mind to hand. If you feel that they are photo-realistic I will accept the compliment. Besides working in one medium is boring, 'Variety is the Spice of Life.'
I use various mediums including oils, watercolor, acrylics, pencil, ink and charcoal to create landscapes, still life,illustrations, portraits,and forensic artwork. I accept commission work and I am deadline friendly.
