Born in 1959, Cindy Lambert was raised in the rural town of Foster, Rhode Island. With a passion for art and a penchant for portraiture, Cindy began developing her creativity at a very early age.
" I was always drawing something - or someone. I recall sketching friends and family members whenever I could persuade them to sit still. I was, and continue to be, mesmerized by human expression."
Having had no formal art training, her keen eye for detail and highly skilled use of Colored Pencil are nothing short of masterful. Cindy's portraits are rendered with exquisite realism.
"I strive to not only capture a visual likeness, but to breath life into each subject; to seemingly give each portrait the power of thought."
Cindy now makes her home in Northeastern, Connecticut with her husband, Mike and dogs, Mabel and Candy.
