This painting of the three blind mice heading to work, faced by a time-obsessed fat cat, was inspired by a friend of mine. He was telling me about how he'd gotten told off for being five minutes late to work the other day. I started thinking of the last job I worked, and this idea just came to me. I think it conveys the feeling of oppression and smallness one gets in the nine-to-five life.
