Hand carved realistic wooden butterfly. The Dryadula was created freehand without the use of patterns, making each carving a unique, one of a kind work of art. Painted in watercolors, then sealed with 6 coats of a marine grade varnish giving the butterfly a glass look. This will protect the colors against fading over a long period of time since there is a UV protectant in the varnish. Personally tested outside in sunlight for 6 months without the fading of any colors. The antennae are metal. Signed, dated and numbered along with the name by wood burning on the backside. The butterfy has a wire hanger located on back for ease in hanging on any wall. From DryRiver Carvings.
