not allowing the use of html to create links to blogs, and other web sites means that this site doesn't get the play that other sites do. The best way to appear at the top of the list on a search is by having lots of links to your siet.

The main reason that we do not allow html is for appearance consistence – for example, if somebody intentionally or unintentionally leaves out some unclosed tags, which can change the page’s layout completely and sometime ugly. And you also can not prevent somebody including super size images which can severely drag down the performance of the whole system. But you have a nice point – links are very important in some places. To address that, we now allow members to add links in the blogs and their profiles. We add the functionality that can automatically convert text URLs to links, but the URLs must be prefixed with http:// or https:// For example: http://www.sell-arts.com/sell.html
