Hello! Welcome to my new gallery to see two new colorful works "Bird of paradise" and "Exotic bird". This works are two different views of stanning by its beauty flower Bird of paradise. "Bird of paradise" is now owned by one of companies in Cincinnati, but prints are avaliable, and "Exotic bird" oriiginal still avaliable.

I feel that I'm asking a fair price for my artwork with the added bonus that the buyer will own the original art work with no other copies or prints of that work. maybe the fact that I live in China may have something to do with it, but a hand full of rice dose not buy everything. most of my art work is 50cm X 60cm and 60cm X80cm but I do also paint larger or smaller canvases,and they come ready framed and will be dispatched by FEDX or UPS and can be purchased via Paypal or Escrow. I seem to be getting a steady flow of traffic but no sales. Is my art that bad?

I'm not finding traffic a problem, I get anything from 17 to 80 hits a day but it seems that they are just scanning the artwork to copy themselves or to have it copied in China cheaper I show my work on eight sights and have yet to sell a piece of art work on any of them. next year I have a solo exhibition in Brazil where i have been asked to take twenty paintings, plus galleries in Italy wishing me to have solo exhibitions, I have had three here in China where I live now and most of my sales are through them but as for the internet it dose not really generate anything as regards sales, spam and scams yes. I have yet to find a sight with serious buyers on.

The problem seems to be that the artwork is shown with a High definition format which allows the punter to copy and print off your work this needs to be dealt with, so that the artwork can't be copied for cheap prints and the copyist market or Chinese copyist factories, This is what is eroding any chance of sales.There are formats that can prevent copying, and until this is addressed it will continue to happen.

I was actually referred here by another artist named Lisa. She seemed to be selling her works here but I have not sold anything yet. But then again it could be that I'm selling digital and photographic art and not physical works like paintings or sculptures.
I do know that cheap copies from China and elsewhere have kind of depressed the market for digital and photo art.
As long as I don't have to pay any membership fees then I guess all I'll do is wait and see.
