Just Recently this painting won 3rd place at the Selma Raisen Festival Fine Art Show.

Every year I create a painting that my husband can use as a Christmas card in his pool business. Thanks to a friend, I had this wonderful old photo of an elk. So I combined a memory of the winter I spent in Michigan as a child with the elk.
