Frustration, Art And Politics?

I like many are probably becoming tired of listening to the debates and fellow slamming of the politicians. Even though we have over a year more to hear them fight among themselves. Politics today in my opinion is another form of lying (a high art form it seems) and taking reality and making it into their own "truth". I feel we are damed if we don't, and damed if we do. What one says today, will change tomorrow, ever spinning to a money. They, the politicians play by their own rules (made up as they go) and we the little people, who supply the incessant waste of our money to their wasteful spending habits and pet projects, become poorer each day. I for one do NOT want anymore taxes, or government interference in my life. They make a mess out of most programs they run, so why allow them even more control? Out of this total frustration (yes, I do email and call my representatives to voice an opinion, but who is really listening to us little people?) I began last month another series of wooden hand carved fish, dedicated to our corrupt leaders, running for office or out of office. The series is called: Fishie Politicians
I will continue this series till the November Election (next year, sigh) and think I will not find lack of models to name the fish after either. :) A way to vent a little of the frustration through my wood working.
