Art As I See It

I've been an 'artist' since I was twelve although I don't really see it that way any more. You see for as long as I can remember I have had trouble with distinguishing between certain 'tints' . I see dark and light but those in between are difficult. So, as I look at these classic artist who worked wonders with color and content I realized something..... I'm not an artist at all. I am quite simply an expressionist. I paint what I feel not what I think. I don't make statements about society because we are just as dead as society so it's looking in the mirror laughing at ourselves. Anyway, I revel in people with talent because I have none. I pine for those who capture beauty because I can't really see it, I know no other profession where ones job is to capture the true world through their eyes.
